Extended Biography

Since early childhood, K.T. Carlisle has dedicated her life to the written word. When other little girls busied themselves with Barbie dolls and Easy Bake Ovens, Carlisle was hand-sewing the binding on the books she wrote and illustrated using a novel-writing kit she received for her birthday. Her commitment to honing her craft is reflected in her long list of personal and professional writing achievements, starting with earning her B.A. in Writing Arts with a concentration in Creative Writing from Rowan University in 2015.

Selected from a pool of more than 3,500 fellow graduates, Carlisle was honored by the university with the Excellence in Writing Arts Award. This award is reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional skill not only as a writer, but as a teacher of writing, further illustrating Carlisle’s unwavering commitment to masterful storytelling.

Following graduation, Carlisle went on to serve as an intern for a literary agency in Manhattan where she helped manage the submissions process. After completing her internship at the agency, she relocated to Salt Lake City where she was hired as a copywriter and editor at a local marketing agency. Crafting various ghostwritten articles on behalf of prominent executives within Silicon Valley’s tech industry, Carlisle’s work has appeared in publications such as Forbes, VentureBeat, Entrepreneur, Inc.com, and USA Today, to name a few.

In November 2018, Carlisle took matters into her own hands and started her own marketing agency, specializing in copywriting, website development, and social media management. Since starting the company, she has had the unique privilege of crafting compelling brand stories for organizations all over the United States, publishing thousands of webpages and blog articles each year.

When she is not writing blog posts or ghostwritten articles, Carlisle is focused on developing her next murder mystery novel from the comfort of her travel trailer as she explores the United States alongside her two crazy dogs.
